Spend 7 nights exploring the best of the Azores Islands with 4 nights in Ponta Delgada and 3 nights in Furnas in the stunning Terra Nostra Garden Hotel. Transfers from airport and between hotels are included.
Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the Octant Ponta Delgada hotel. From here you can relax and explore the harbour and quaint city at you leisure.
Day 2 Walking tour Ponta Delgada and Whale watching.
In the morning take a 3 Hour walking tour of the wonderful city of Ponta Delgada visiting all the historic points. In the afternoon experience whale watching meet at the harbour opposite the hotel please wear suitable clothing including rubber soled shoes and a waterproof coat.
Day 3 Jeep tour Sete Cidades.
Departure from Ponta Delgada on this exciting jeep tour towards the viewpoint of Vista do Rei. On the way, we have the opportunity to see smaller lakes, such as Lake Empadadas before arriving at the belvedere where you will find the magnificent Lagoa das Sete Cidades. After travelling the unpaved road that envelops the top of the volcanic structure, descent into the Seven Cities with a little stop next to St. Nicholas Church. On the way to Ponta Delgada, we still have the opportunity to see the Lagoa de Santiago.
Day 4 Transfer.
In the morning transfer from Ponta Delgada to Furnas.
Spend the afternoon exploring the Terra Nostra Garden ** and all it has to offer. Take your Swimming costume and a towel to relax and unwind in the thermal baths, stroll around the lush gardens taking in this unique landscape. Stay at the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel.
Day 5 Walking tour Lago das Furnas.
Explore the beautiful Lagoa das Furnas on foot. Here you will see the locals cooking the famous Furnas stew, Cozido das Furnas through thermal heat. Take time to stroll around this beautiful lake and take in the sights and sounds.
Day 6 Furnas free day.
Explore the town of Furnas on foot, here you can witness the volcanic activity of steam vents and boiling water holes.
Day 7 Transfer.
Return to Ponta Delgada and the Octant Ponta Delgada. Relax and enjoy your last day with free time.
Day 8 Fly home.
Return to the airport and fly home.

Furnas 3 Nights
Experience the Terra Nostra Park and its hotel the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel. A unique garden created over 200 years ago which includes thermal bathing waters and the wonderful art deco spa hotel. Furnas is at lies at the bottom of a huge caldera where you can witness volcanic activity such as steam fumaroles, boiling waters and hot springs.
