Day 1.
Transfer from the airport to the Hotel Canadiano. Take time to relax and explore Ponta Delgada. Stay at the Hotel Canadiano.
Day 2 Whale watching.
Whale and Dolphin watching tour which takes place from the harbour. The harbour can be easily reached on foot from the Hotel Canadiano. Wear rubber soled shoes and take a waterproof jacket. Stay at the Hotel Canadiano.
Day 3 Jeep tour Sete Cidades.
Experience the beauty of Sete Cidades on this half day jeep tour. Here you will see the unique blue and green lakes of Sete Cidades and its beautiful town. Stay at the Hotel Canadiano.
Day 4 Relax.
Take a well earned day off and relax in this newly renovated Hotel. Stay at the Hotel Canadiano.
Day 5 Jeep tour Furnas.
Take a full day Jeep tour of Furnas. Experiencing the wonderful views and unique landscape of this volcanic area. Don't forget to bring your swimming costume and towel so you can bathe in the hot thermal waters of the Terra Nostra Gardens. Afterwards you can wonder and explore these magnificent gardens. Later you will see the local tea factory of Gorrena and the Santa Iria viewpoint which are the last attractions of this tour. Stay at the Hotel Canadiano.
Day 6 Walking tour Sete Cidaes.
Enjoy a half day walking tour of Sete Cidades. Take in a different viewpoint on this walking tour of Sete Cidades climb to the top of a mountain and enjoy a privileged view over the central part of the Island of São Miguel. Don't forget to wear walking shoes and take a jacket. Stay at Hotel Canadiano.
Day 7 Full day jeep tour Riberia Grande.
Full day van tour to Riberia Grande and Lagoa. Visit the town of Lagoa and stop at the Vieira ceramics factory, the tour continues with the descent to the north coast and stop at the Natural and Regional Monument of Caldeira Velha where you can enjoy a thermal bath. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will take a walking tour where we can visit the main points of interest in the northern city and admire the examples of the architecture of São Miguel. Then onto visit to one of the must-see points, Eduardo Ferreira's liquor factory with tasting of the regional liquors produced there. Please bring swim suit and towel.
Return back to Ponta Delgada. Stay at hotel Canadiano.
Day 8 Fly home.
Return to the airport and fly home.
