This side of Terceira leads us to discover more of its history over the centuries. We begin by enjoying the fantastic viewpoint of the Sierra Cume, from where we admire the fields divided as in an authentic patchwork: a unique landscape.
On the way to the other side of the island, you will always be able to see the fields where the bulls live on the island, as they are a very important part of Terceira culture. When we reach the north coast, we will explore how volcanoes and the ocean shaped the coastline in unique geological structures. During the morning there will also be plenty of time to explore the island's second largest city, Praia da Vitória, before our lunch at a local restaurant. Then we went up to the viewpoint of the Facho, to admire the whole city, before going to the bathing area of the pools of Porto Martins. On the way to Angra, there is still time to admire the traditional chapel's of the Holy Spirit, closely linked to the history of the entire archipelago.
